Dear potential mentor for the DEVOTED School of Leadership. You have been requested to become a personal mentor during a participants leadership learning journey. Thank you for prayerfully considering becoming a mentor in the DEVOTED School of Leadership. Your partnership is vital to see Christian leaders grow to become all that God has called them to be.
The DEVOTED Mentor will be one of three key persons building into the life of an individual involved in the DEVOTED learning process: the course instructor, the local church leader working in ministry with the participant and you their personal mentor.
As a Mentor, your commitment would be threefold.
Attend one of the two Mentor training sessions on offer. (see below)
Offer Feedback and support…
By meeting regularly with the DEVOTED participant.
Meet\zoom or chat with the mentee every 4-6 weeks to encourage them in their journey.
By offering brief feedback to the DEVOTED Staff, after the completion of each course, as to the level of learning & equipping enjoyed by the mentee.
Take part in scheduled Zoom meetings for encouragement and support with other Mentors every 8-10 weeks during the year.
Mentor Training – Terry Dorey of Mentor Link Canada will train the DEVOTED Mentor Team. MentorLink is a worldwide movement and a network for equipping leaders and mentors globally who lead like Jesus and develop others to do the same.
Mentor Training Dates
Saturday November 30th - 9am to noon at Milton Bible Church.
Tuesday February 4th - 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Milton Bible Church.
